Walt: We are learning about conjuctions and how to use them in sentences

• We went home and went straight to bed.

• They are rich but they aren’t happy.

• We went home because we were tired.

• We went home early, so we missed the end of the concert.

• We went home when Jane wanted to.

We went home before the concert ended.

• We went home after Max Jones had sung his first song.

• We went home although / though we did not really want to.

We will go home if we are tired.

Gene can go to school because he loves to learn

Lena has a sore foot after jumping on the trampoline

Katareina won't be going to the movies unless she has a adult with her

Sione can ride his bike but he has to have permission from his mum

Sally climbed a tree although she didn't want to

Kyle walked home from school since he was little

Simon was full from dinner even though he ate a little bit

Anna watched her sister incase she might be missing

Scott was in charge when his mum and dad went out

Shelley played ripper rugby only if she is allowed to

We are learning about conjuctions and how to use then in sentences. It came up with lots of sentences. So we had to highlight the conjuction words betwwen the sentences.

Whole Day

Walt: persuade the reader to agree with our message

Bean bags are as much spongy and delicate to sit on.

During class time the soft and smooth bean bags are available for hire to sit on. Instead of sitting on the hard wooden concrete floor or on a bendable molded chair, you will be able to sit on the nice comfy bean bag to do your work.

The spongy and delicate bean bags are filled with soft rubbery beans (not baked beans)  and covered in a rubbery skin texture. They can be moulded into any shape of your choice. You can choose to sit on the fluffy bean bag, or use it to lean back on.

The comfortable bean bags come in two different colours. A blue colour like the colour of the    bright bluey ocean, and a bright lime mint green. It’s your choice which one you want to sit on.

The price is 3pt. You pay once at the starting point of the day and after that you can use the comfy beanbag for the rest of the  day.

Remember this. For 3pt you can sit at a beanbag during class time all day long.

We were asked to re craft our ad so that people can agree to our message. I used thesaurus to get more exciting words then sad and boring words. We persuaded a reader to hire a bean bag.

We are learning how to use similes to describe things in our writing to capture our audience.

Me and my buddy were learning how to make comparisons, by using like or as that indicates the comparison. We also learned how to use similes to describe things in our presentation to capture our audience.    

My Cabability Powers

Walt: write effective paragraphs using juicy and exciting words

If I had powers that I can imagine I would be Travelling backwards all day and saving the world. So I would be a traveller so that I can go to different countries. If I was a traveller I could go back to the olden days or other days, but in several times.

If I use my capability for something, for example  If I was in my class and I try to get extra points. The whole class then had more points than me so if I travel back I will get more points then my incredible class. If my electric powers would start to travel back, it will change to different clothes. The powers will feel like it has electric shots and sizzling in my electronic body.

My powers will be saving the world so I could travel back in time if their was a big explosion going on I will save the people who's getting in fire and some red hot houses. I could use my powers by saving people. Travelling back in time, and also going back to the olden days to see where my parents use to live. I will like to have friends coming along with me.

To me I think having these qualification powers would be awesome. It would be my favourite thing to do everyday. It is also a bit bad because it has electronic things going on.

In writing for the past days we have been learning how write an effective paragraphs in just 5-13 minutes. today we sat in silent like did last time we sat any where but not to far then started writing our conclusion. after that we re edited our work, after that we got into partners and re craft each others work. In these writing we had to use juicy words that wanted our reader to read more of our paragraphs so I used thesaurus for more words. I learn how to work in partners but not just that I re craft work by using more incredible words from thesaurus in just a little while. next term we would be able to write in pears in silence.
