Description of learning: We were learning to research and work collaboratively. My group and I were working on a presentation about sports. Our sports were rugby leauge, football, touch football, rugby and netball.

Our task was to find proof of the author's message. We had to give advice to the person who gave advice to us. We reaserch to find some games to the person who gave advice to us.

Three Little Pigs Attacked!!!!

Breaking News, two little pigs has been attacked by a wolf. Lucky the wolf is no longer here anymore. Just be carefull if the wolf is out there.

There were three pigs who were recently attacked by a vicious wolf. There mother told them to go have a taste of the world. This is sad news because two little pigs died when they attacked. But the third pig survived the attack.

The third pig wasn't dead, because he survived the attack. When the wolf suddenly came into the third pig’s house, the wolf had an idea by climbing up to the chimney. The third pig had an idea by putting a  big pot of water on top of the fire. When the wolf came down the chimney, the wolf slipped and went inside the boiling hot pot.

May I ask you some questions Mamma Pig?

Yes you may

Would you like it if you kick your pigs out?

Not really Why?

Well I wish I can go back in time but they have grown up now

Did you know that your two sons had died?

No. At first I didn’t know that, so I went to my older son’s house and when he told me I was devastated. I cried like fire.

Were you upset that you three little pigs left you?

Yes. I was so scared that the big bad wolf will come a pig napped them.

Why did you tell them to live a new life?

It’s because they have grown up so fast, that I told them to have a taste of the outside.

Winter Season Report

Winter Season is Coming Your Way!!!!!

“Winter is here, its a mix of rain, hail, thunderstorms and more. Kids give each other ideas about how to get to school on rainy days”

Wet kids demand themselves that school should be on when its rainy days.  

This means for Pt England students is that the winter season is coming back. When Winter comes to Pt England they get sick, get the flu and very cold.

Students are feeling that they have to go to school in rainy days. Patricia a student from Pt England says that “ it's important to come school so you can learn but if you see it's raining outside, you should come to school with warm clothes a raincoat and a umbrella. 

We were asked to write a news style report. Just like the walt up top.  

  

 

The 2011 Christchurch Earthquake

Brandon is a 11 years old boy and he plays games with his friend Kelly. Brendan and Kelly were nearly up to level seven but Brendan mum said she had to go home. The game Kelly and Brandon were playing is called Revenge of the Aliens.

What's your thoughts about the 2011 Christchurch Earthquake? My thoughts about the 2011 Christchurch Earthquake is how depressing they are feeling and how hurt they must be. Not because of them but the kids too.

What will an earthquake mean for your city? If there was an earthquake in my city lots of my family members will die. And also some people might be stuck inside a rubble.

Is there anything that you could do, to help the people in Christchurch who have suffered from the earthquake? Yes, I think I might have a way to help the people at Christchurch. Well I could make a sausage sizzle sale and it will only cost about 3 dollars under.

The Devastating Nepal Earthquake

1. Nick is a 10 year old boy who lives in New Zealand and loves to play on his computer. His friend Matiu comes over and plays on his computer. The game their were playing on the computer was bone brains of the universe.
2. What's your thoughts about the Nepal Earthquake? It is a good idea to get the international aid helicopter to help them survive and to heal them.
3. If there was a earthquake in your city what will it mean to you? If there was an earthquake in my city some of my family members will die. But if they get injured I will call the ambulance.

Is anybody gonna help Nepal in anyway? Well I can donate money and fund raise to give them money to save their lives.
