For the past few weeks our literacy reading groups were reading about Lost in the Ranges. Dr Seuss's and Roald Dahl's which is our reading groups, we have been reading about articles of trampers who are lost in the Mountains when they are hiking. We have answered the following questions that our amazing teacher Miss Clark created and now we have finished. I hope no more trampers will get lost again. Hope you enjoy :-)

This week our learning intention is to analyse the cultural context within the text. Week 7's literacy task is called Escape from Afghanistan. In this text it is talking about to women going to travel to another place named Quetta, a city in Pakistan. In the country named Afghanistan is where civil war is. Civil War is when one country fights another bunch in their. Afghanistan is pretty much a dangerous place and that nobody really wants to go there.

For the past few weeks my maths group has been working on ratios. We then moved onto fractions and word problems. It was pretty hard for me but as I keep on solving it.
